Alabama Skies: Freezing fog, freezing weather possible for parts of Alabama Tuesday night

Sunshine returns to Alabama Tuesday, even with a cloudy start in central and southern parts of the state.

We’ll be cooler with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. Northern Alabama will flirt with freezing temperatures, possibly dropping to 30. If temps do get that low, freezing fog is possible in some locales.

Sunshine will hang around for a couple days, then our rainy weekend pattern returns. Models aren’t showing the entire weekend to be wet, but we could see some heavy rain Friday night into Saturday.

Central Alabama

South Alabama
