MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. ( WIAT ) — Several law enforcement agencies from across Georgia and Alabama were part of an operation that resulted in the arrest of nearly 50 people who were wanted fugitives.
According to the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia, 46 fugitives were arrested as part of “Operation One Fight,” six of whom were confirmed gang members.

In addition to the arrests, over $20,000 in illegal drugs were seized, as well as a stolen car and 13 guns.
Agencies that were involved in the operation include the Lee County (AL) Sheriff’s Office, Columbus (GA) Police Department, Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Ft. Moore CID, Russell County (AL) Sheriff’s Office, Georgia State Patrol, the United States Marshal’s Services, the United States Department of Homeland Security, and additional federal partners.
These cases remain under investigation.
