(Alabama)- Last week on Feb. 8, Alabama authorities received multiple reports of a potential child abuse case after the child was observed and had visible marks on the face and legs.
The official news release posted by authorities stated:
As a result of the investigation, the Special Investigations Unit charged Kasheca Carter (40) with one count of Willful Child Abuse. Carter was determined to be the responsible party of the minor. Carter was transported to the Houston Cty. jail with a bond of $15,000.
Due to privacy laws and the child’s age, officials stated more information would be given to the public at a later date. Authorities would like to remind the public that everyone is innocent until proven guilty under Alabama’s court of law.
