COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- Temperatures today rose into the 80s, plus we had plenty of sunshine. Over the next few days, readings will continue to heat up even more.
A front moving in tomorrow, will stall out over Alabama and Georgia. While this system will not bring any rain, we could see a few extra clouds Friday afternoon. Temperatures will rise into the upper 80s starting tomorrow, and there will likely be a few 90s. These highs will continue through the start of the weekend. Saturday, we could trend near 15 degrees ABOVE average.
A second front will arrive Sunday. This front will be our best chance for measurable rainfall over the next week. While many areas will remain dry, a few could see stray showers starting Sunday afternoon-Monday morning.
Behind this front, temperatures will drop into the mid 70s Monday afternoon. Plus, there will be more clouds cover for the start of next week. Partly cloudy conditions and near average highs will continue through midweek.
