On October 23, 2024, new details emerged as the Buzbee Law Firm filed a lawsuit involving Sean “Diddy” Combs. A 19-year-old, referred to as Ms. Doe, claimed that she and a friend were assaulted by Combs in 2004 at an after-party for his MTV series “Da Band.” The shocking allegations place a spotlight on Diddy’s business associates and the prominent hotel chain, Marriott, where the incident allegedly occurred.
In her legal filing, Ms. Doe outlined how the hotel’s involvement in various activities created an environment for inappropriate behavior.
The lawsuit states“Marriott defendants further enabled Combs to commit the crime of violence motivated by gender by turning a willful blind eye to his obvious conduct, including sexual violence against others.” The hotel allegedly facilitated venues and provided premises, such as hotel rooms, where these acts could occur, all while profiting from the events through room rates and services.
