One thing is certain: 2025 has not begun as the best year for celebrities. According to TMZ, Nicki Minaj has been brought to the forefront after her former day-to-day manager filed a lawsuit claiming she assaulted him during an argument in April 2024.
In Brandon Garrett’s lawsuit, he alleges Minaj attacked him after she learned he allowed another person to pick up her prescription, without consenting with her.
Before Minaj attacked him, Garrett stated:
Nicki screamed at him, “Are you f***ing crazy having him pick up my prescription? You have lost your f***ing mind and if my husband were here, he would knock out your f***ing teeth. You’re a dead man walking. You just f***ed up your whole life and you will never be anyone, I’ll make sure of it.”
Minaj also told Garrett that his “life was over” before physically striking him on the right side of his face with an open hand. The impact of the strike reportedly caused Garrett’s head to recoil backwards and his hat to be knocked off his head.
