Our next weathermaker arrives on Thursday night into Friday night. An area of low pressure will develop along the Northern Gulf Coast. Depending on where it tracks will make a difference on our forecast.

Right now, it looks like it will move east right along the coast. This will send moisture/rain into the cold air over Alabama causing it to mix with freezing rain/sleet/snow during the morning. A light glaze is possible for the AM Commute on bridges, and some snow accumulation is likely for areas north of Birmingham.
