A new police chief has been officially sworn in. Photos were shared on the Juneau Police Department’s Facebook page. Over the weekend, Derek Bos was officially sworn in as chief of police. He succeeds former Chief Ed Mercer, who retired in July. Krag Campbell was also promoted to Deputy Chief during this weekend’s ceremony.
