That caribou never stood a chance.
We’ve seen a number of videos that prove that nature can be equally as brutal as it is beautiful. Creatures have to do what they can to survive in the wild, and it times, the results can be pretty devastating…
And here’s the latest example.
In this video a couple of guys found an Alaskan brown bear chasing down a caribou in Alaska. At the beginning of the footage, you can see that the caribou has a massive head start on the bear, and it appears that the caribou is well on its way to safety.
However, once the caribou runs into a pond, that’s when things begin to look much more dim.
The creature makes it all the way to the other side, and by this time, the bear has finally made it into the pond and still has its sights on the young caribou. But it almost looks like the caribou didn’t realize the bear was still chasing him, or was just completely gassed, as it slows down completely. The bear makes up a ton of ground, and is only a few yards away, and the caribou notices the creature again, and quickly takes off back into the pond in the opposite direction.
