Series of storms set to sweep through the Bering through early next week

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A high surf advisory continues for the Western Arctic Coastline, as a low continues to churn through the Arctic. Large wave breaks of 4 to 6 feet are possible, with coastal erosion to be expected. While the advisory is set to expire by midmorning, active and windy weather will stick around through the week. Meanwhile, the Bering is gearing up for a series of storms that will sweep through the region and affect Mainland Alaska through next week.
