Denali Borough School Superintendent Dan Polta has come full circle. He first worked for the Denali Borough School District from 1995 to 2003, as a math/science/music teacher and eventually principal. Today, after 10 years as the district superintendent, he is the 2025 Alaska Superintendent of the Year.
