ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A contestant for Ms. Wheelchair USA and Alaska’s newest representative as Ms. Wheelchair Alaska showed us her sash and crown. Kathryn Arvidson applied for the Ms. Wheelchair USA pageant months ago, inspired after learning of the title in 2024. In her initial interview with Alaska’s News Source she hadn’t yet received the title, but discussed her intended platform of mental health’s connection to disability.
