Scattered Showers and Thunderstorms Expected in Northwest Arizona, Southern Nevada

The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Las Vegas has issued an update for northwest Arizona, where scattered light rain showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected throughout the day. The area has already seen some precipitation overnight, with up to a quarter inch of rain reported near Pipe Spring National Monument.

As weather conditions develop, an additional quarter inch of rain is possible in parts of northern Mohave County, where the showers are likely to persist. However, precipitation chances will decrease further west into southern Nevada.

Residents in the affected areas should be prepared for wet conditions and the potential for brief thunderstorms. Stay informed of weather updates and use caution when traveling in areas that could experience heavy rain.
