The total solar eclipse is coming on Monday, April 8 and just about everyone is making plans to see this amazing site as its path runs straight through Arkansas. A lot of school districts in Arkansas realize the importance of this event and also know that it will be difficult to hold students’ attention on April 8. That being said, there are a lot of schools that have decided to close for this historic day so kids can be with their families and witness this big event.
