Rain Boots & Umbrella Mardi Gras Weekend!

Mostly cloudy, breezy, and quite warm describes your Thursday. Tonight will be much the same. But, our big event unfolds starting early Friday and doesn’t wind down until very late Sunday night. We currently have a moisture-laden SW flow in both the surface and upper levels. For the most part, it has been a windy day with widely scattered showers. Up next will be an upper-level disturbance heading our way. However, the rain chances tonight will not amount to much. Showers will increase a bit Friday and a few rumbles may be heard. Eventually, a weak cold front will likely get as far as the Ouachita Mountains where it will get hung up and fall apart.
