A weak front will bring a slight chance for showers and storms tonight across northern Arkansas. We’ll have a small chance Friday morning central and south. A heat advisory will stay in effect Friday for central and southern Arkansas with heat index temperatures around 105 to 110 degrees. Northern Arkansas humidity values will drop enough to keep advisories away. The weekend will be hot, but not as hot as the past several days. The heat should ramp up once again next week with highs getting close to 100. We’re also watching the tropics. Debby may form in the Atlantic and move into the Gulf. Any cool down here late next week will be dependent upon where this tropical system tracks. We’ll keep you updated. -Todd Yakoubian.
