LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A new report from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has found that the food insecurity rate in Arkansas ranks as the worst in the United States. The USDA’s report defines food insecurity as a household’s inability at times “to acquire adequate food for one or more household members because they had insufficient money and other resources for food.”
