Red Cross mobilizes aid after Hurricane Helene’s devastation

(KOAM) – Days after Hurricane Helene’s landfall, millions remain affected by its 500-mile path of destruction.

The American Red Cross has deployed over 900 disaster responders to provide shelter, meals, emotional support, and relief supplies to those in need.

In the Missouri and Arkansas region, 43 responders have been sent to assist recovery efforts in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Two responders from the Southern Missouri Chapter are also supporting the mission.
