Violent three-vehicle collision blocks all lanes on California’s scenic coastal highway

A multiple-vehicle collision on Highway 1 near the 700 block has resulted in minor injuries and significant traffic disruptions, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) incident report.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:13 PM, involving three vehicles – a silver Jeep, a gray Audi Q5, and a blue Ford F150 pickup truck. The collision has led to injuries, prompting a response from emergency medical services.

Witnesses reported that all vehicles involved in the crash are blocking both northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 1. In addition, debris from the collision is scattered across the roadway, creating hazardous conditions for motorists.

Emergency responders, including CHP units and medical personnel, are on the scene to address the situation. The injured parties are receiving medical attention, and the extent of their injuries is yet to be confirmed.

As of 3:15 PM, the southbound lanes have been reopened, and a towing service is on-site to remove the vehicles involved in the collision. A flatbed tow truck from Auto Care is assisting with the removal.
