McDonald’s is giving out free food to Californians through the end of March

McDonald’s is set to brighten Thursdays for its California customers during February and March with the introduction of “Deal Days.”

The fast-food giant is generously giving away free items to users of its app, requiring only a $1 minimum purchase.

The first “Deal Day” on February 15 saw customers enjoying a complimentary Double Cheeseburger.

The upcoming weeks promise even more treats, including a Sausage McMuffin with Egg on Feb. 22, a Big Mac on Feb. 29, a Happy Meal on March 7, a Sausage McMuffin with Egg on March 14, and 6pc. Chicken McNuggets on March 21. Additionally, California app users can avail themselves of a 20% discount on any $10+ order using Mobile Order & Pay, and enjoy a $0 delivery fee for orders exceeding $15.

In a bid to make its offerings more accessible, McDonald’s has also brought back “Filet-o-Fish Fridays,” allowing customers to savor the fish sandwich for $2.99 every Friday at participating restaurants in Southern California.

App users, however, can snag the Filet-o-Fish on Fridays for an even more tempting $2.50.
