Southwest Airlines has reintroduced its popular tier acceleration promotion, giving Rapid Rewards Members an easier path to achieving A-List or A-List Preferred status through 2025. Starting today, members have four ways to fast-track their tier status: qualifying flight purchases, flight purchases with Rapid Rewards points, Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Cards from Chase purchases, and spending with Rapid Rewards partners.
Jonathan Clarkson, Vice President & Chief Product Officer at Southwest Airlines, emphasized the benefits of reaching these tiers, including perks like earlier boarding, boosted points, free same-day standby, and same-day flight changes. A-List Preferred Members enjoy even more, including free WiFi and premium drinks.
The promotion offers double tier qualifying points on flights through November 30, 2024, and triple points for business travelers booking through Southwest’s business channels.
