In a ranking that’s sure to fuel ongoing debates among fry lovers, McDonald’s “World Famous Fries” have been named the best fast food fries for 2024 by Eat This, Not That. According to writer Matt Kirouac, McDonald’s fries are in a league of their own, with a taste, texture, and aroma that have set the standard for what fast food fries should be. “Despite technically being a side dish, the fries often steal the spotlight from everything else on the menu, burgers included,” Kirouac wrote.
Arby’s secured two spots on the list, placing third with its classic Curly Fries and last with its newer Crinkle Fries. Wendy’s Hot & Crispy Fries came in second, while other well-known contenders like Burger King, Chick-fil-A, and Taco Bell also made the cut.
