Cult-favorite Costco is lowering prices on some of its most popular Kirkland Signature items

Costco’s recent fourth-quarter earnings call, led by President and CEO Ron Vachris and Executive Vice President and CFO Gary Millerchip, revealed positive trends and price reductions aimed at providing enhanced value to members. The call highlighted the growing popularity of Kirkland Signature products.

Millerchip emphasized that Costco’s commitment to delivering value is resonating with its members, particularly within its fresh departments, which experienced high single-digit growth.

In a strategic move to further entice shoppers, Costco has lowered the prices of several Kirkland Signature items, leading to impressive sales increases. Notably, the price of Kirkland Signature Boneless Chicken Tender lines was reduced by 13%, resulting in a remarkable 21% boost in pounds sold.

The following products have also seen price cuts:

  • Kirkland Signature Standard Foil: Reduced from $31.99 to $29.99.
  • Kirkland Signature Macadamia Nut Canisters: Lowered from $18.99 to $13.99.
  • Kirkland Signature Spanish Olive Oil (3-liter bottle): Cut from $38.99 to $34.99.
  • Kirkland Signature Baguette (2-pack): Reduced from $5.99 to $4.99.
