CHP Partners with Impact Teen Drivers for National Teen Driver Safety Week at Encina Prep

On October 21, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) teamed up with Impact Teen Drivers and Dr. Kelly Browning to launch National Teen Driver Safety Week at Encina Preparatory High School. The event aimed to educate teens on the importance of safe driving, addressing a critical issue as motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of death among teenagers in the U.S.

The CHP hosted engaging activities, including a seatbelt safety challenge designed to encourage teens to buckle up in a fun and interactive way. The event emphasized the significance of safe driving habits, urging young drivers to consistently wear seatbelts, avoid distractions, and never drive under the influence. CHP and partners hope this awareness effort empowers teens to make responsible choices on the road, helping to improve safety for all.
