Ahead of Holidays, John Deere Commits $6.6 Million to Fight Hunger in U.S. Communities

Deere & Company has pledged $6.6 million over three years to Feeding America®, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to hunger relief. The John Deere Foundation’s funding will support critical food access initiatives across the U.S., reaching communities in need. In partnership with The Farmlink Project, Deere has also aided a record-breaking food rescue, redirecting over 15 million pounds of surplus apples to food banks. This grant, combined with over four decades of Deere’s support, aims to address hunger by strengthening food systems and supporting farmers. “This effort is about transforming the food system and ending hunger,” said John May, Deere’s CEO.
