Snow returns Friday into early Saturday across the Cascades. A mild warm front ushers in mountain snow and lower-elevation rain through Friday night, with snow levels around 4000–5500 ft. depending on location. Expect moderate accumulations in the WA Cascades, with breezy east/southeast winds at the passes Friday, diminishing into Saturday.

Saturday night into Sunday will bring another wave of moisture. Snow levels dip slightly, especially in northern and eastern areas, leading to additional moderate snowfall.

Winds may increase in the upper Cascade elevations, particularly Saturday night, but the main impact remains focused on fresh snowfall for higher terrain!
Most areas will see sporadic mountain snow showers, though totals should taper off beyond Monday. Temperatures at elevation remain seasonably cool, favoring snowpack preservation.
