A Boulder-area man violently threatened city employees to keep them from accessing a city ditch and reservoir he electrically fenced off in violation of a binding legal agreement, the city accused in a lawsuit filed Wednesday.
Marco Campos is accused of fencing off a city-used ditch and Eggleston Reservoir No. 4, making access impossible for the city, which uses them for storage and irrigating open space, according to the complaint filed in Boulder County District Court. The city, represented by senior counsel Luis A. Toro, is asking for an undetermined amount in damages and for the court to restore its access to the water, the complaint says.
