DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado Parks and Wildlife is tracking two wolves that have made their way into Moffat County.
Multiple wolves were reintroduced in Colorado in December . CPW put GPS collars on all 12 known wolves in the state and created a map showing where they have been .

Over the last week, two of those collared wolves moved from western Routt County into eastern Moffat County, a CPW spokesperson told FOX31.
The GPS data is collected every four hours, and CPW said the wolves move substantial distances during that time. Additionally, weather and terrain affect how often GPS data can be collected.
This means CPW can see where the wolves have been, but they can’t track where the wolves are or where they are going at a given moment.
