DELTA COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – Another rabid animal has been confirmed in Colorado, this time on the Western Slope. The Delta County Health Department announced earlier this week that a bat with rabies had been found near Hotchkiss. It’s the second rabid bat discovered in the area this summer.
