Two successful search and rescue missions take place across Colorado in 24 Hours

Douglas County, Colo. (KKTV) -Two search and rescue missions took place in Colorado over the past 24 hours, one in Douglas County and the other in Teller County. In Douglas County, search teams were sent last night to locate an endangered adult in Highlands Ranch. Due to cold weather conditions, there was concern that the individual could be at risk of hypothermia. The rescue teams, using foot patrols, vehicles, drones, and a K-9 unit, were able to locate the individual, who is now safe and expected to recover.
