Colorado chain law passed earlier this year now in effect

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – A new law requiring all Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) drivers to carry chains from Sept. 1st until May 31st is now in effect. SB24-100 also applies to vehicles with a combined weight of 16,001 lbs used in commerce or as transport for at least 16 passengers (including the driver) on public highways.
