DENVER ( KDVR ) — Snow fell overnight Sunday into Monday, with some areas collecting over a foot , and more is on the way.
Denver weather: Pinpoint Weather Alert Day Monday and Wednesday
A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day has been issued for Wednesday as another round of snow is expected to fall across the state. The Pinpoint Weather team expects rain and snow showers to start on Tuesday night and last through Wednesday morning.
By the time the storm is over on Wednesday night, some areas could see as much as 10 inches of snow, including potentially a few inches in Denver.
How much snow could fall on Wednesday?
Here’s how much snow is expected to fall around the state.
In Denver, 1-3 inches are expected to fall by Wednesday night, while the Palmer Divide could see around 3-6 inches. The northern Front Range will only see trace amounts to about 1 inch of snow.
Areas like Salida and Aspen could see some of the most snow with Salida expected to tally 10 inches while Aspen is expected to get close to a foot of snow.
