Wishes Came True for 79 Colorado Teachers

The Nathan Yip Foundation announced today that thanks to a generous donation from an anonymous donor for $50,000, along with $26,000 raised through the Mid-Autumn Festival and Rural Teacher Grant Fundraiser, $76,000 was granted to 79 teachers in 52 rural Colorado school districts to help make a teacher’s dream come true.

The Nathan Yip Foundation received so many great funding ideas and some of the grants awarded to fund a teacher’s dream for students include: Arriba-Flagler, Four Paws of Healing; Columbine Elementary, Wiggle chairs for wiggly kids; Graham Mesa Elementary School, Growing Minds: A School Garden; Haskin Elementary, Technology Tools!; Hayden Middle School, New VEX Robotics; Bennett High School, Let’s Keep Teachers Teaching!
