A new tax will be added to firearm sales in Colorado as Proposition KK passes

Colorado voters have approved a ballot measure that imposes a new tax on firearm sales. The revenue generated from Proposition KK will go toward victims’ services. The Associated Press called the race just after 2 a.m. Wednesday after more than 1.3 million people — or 54.2% of voters — voted in favor, versus 1.1 million people voted against it.
