National Park Service announces free admission days for 2025

(Colorado) The National Park Service has announced the free park admission days for 2025.

  • January 20 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • April 19 – First Day of National Park Week
  • June 19 – Juneteenth National Independence Day
  • August 4 – Great American Outdoors Act Signing Day
  • September 27 – National Public Lands Day
  • November 11 – Veterans Day

Colorado has thirteen national parks, sites, and monuments, and some require an admission fee.

The parks with a fee are Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Colorado National Monument, Dinosaur National Monument, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, Mesa Verde National Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park.
