Gov. Polis orders flags flown at half-staff

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – On Monday, Colorado Governor Jared Polis ordered flags to fly at half-staff in recognition of Former President Jimmy Carter’s death. The order calls for the flags to fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset for 30 days, stretching from the day of his death on Sunday until January 9, which will be recognized as a national day of mourning.
