3rd suspect charged in Delaware man’s deadly stabbing

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) – A third man has been charged in connection to the death of a man from Delaware in December, according to police.

Police arrested 52-year-old Markee Malloy of Waterbury in connection to the homicide. He is being charged with murder, first-degree assault and conspiracy to commit assault.

Police also arrested 33-year-old Sean Lawrence and 52-year-old Barry Mason in December in connection to the incident.

Officers responded to an incident on Dec. 22 in the area of First Avenue. Police said 37-year-old Jose Virola was involved in “an earlier disturbance with a female,” which then led to a fight between him, Lawrence and Mason. Virola was stabbed during the fight.
