Katt Williams and Mike Epps are the talk of the town in the comedy world right now, and each will have a lot to say during their respective tours to the Delaware area soon.
And so will many other comics set to perform in and around the First State this late winter and spring.
In addition to Epps (who performs in Philly on Saturday, Feb. 17) and Williams, here’s a look at nine stand-up shows that plan to crack up comedy fans in the coming weeks.
Why are Katt Williams and Mike Epps trending?
The quick and dirty version is that Williams broke the internet last month when he appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast and took aim at several comedians including Kevin Hart. That episode has over 58 million on YouTube.
Epps, from “The Upshaws,” is trending for feuding with Sharpe.
During a recent stand-up show, Epps joked that he’d been approached by Sharpe to come on “Club Shay Shay” and claimed the football Hall of Famer is gay and appeared ready to sexually assault Williams during the January interview that went viral.
