Partly to mostly sunny and windy today; snow arrives later this evening with slick travel

TONIGHT: Cloudy with snow from late evening on; slippery travel overnight. Low: 27. TOMORROW: Snow shower early; breezy with variably cloudy skies. High: 35 Low: 15. We have an in-between day on Friday, with some brisk sunshine and highs in the upper 30s before another Clipper passes by to our south late Friday night. That means we’re on the snowier side of this one, and periods of snow should result in anywhere from around 1″ to 4″ of a fluffy, powdery snow, with the 4 inch amounts most likely in far southern PA, Delaware, and parts of South Jersey. Any lingering snow showers will taper off early Saturday morning, and the rest of the weekend looks increasingly bright and still breezy. Seasonably chilly temperatures this weekend will ease next week, with highs into the 40s and even near 50 degrees by mid-week. We’ll watch for another potential storm late next week, then another shot of cold the following weekend.
