Wildfire Risk Rises in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, NWS Urges Caution

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ, issued a special weather statement early this morning, warning residents across various counties in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania about the increased risk of fire spread today. According to the statement, relative humidity is expected to drop to precarious levels between 25 to 35 percent this afternoon. Moreover, gusts of northwest wind are predicted to reach up to 25 mph, with the possibility of surging as high as 30 mph.
