WASHINGTON — D.C. police are asking the public for help as they investigate a shooting that left a man hospitalized early Thursday evening in Northeast.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 5:55 p.m. on Oct. 15. Upon arriving at the scene in the 1600 block of Kenilworth Avenue NE, near Deanwood Metro Station, first responders discovered an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
According to police officials, the victim was found conscious and breathing. Medical personnel immediately transported him to a local area hospital to receive treatment for his injuries…
