WASHINGTON (7News) – Clouds will win over sunshine throughout Friday, gradually clearing in the afternoon and early evening. Temperatures will reach highs ranging from the mid-40s to around 50 degrees. In an event earlier today, a groundhog emerged from hibernation and was raised in front of a cheering crowd to predict the arrival of spring. As the clouds prevailed, the groundhog did not see its shadow. This has led some to believe that spring will come earlier than expected.
