DC Police Reveal Details, Charges for Officer-Shot Man

The incident unfolded in the 1400 block of Bangor Street at approximately 6:20 p.m. on a Friday evening. According to statements from the police department, officers affiliated with the District’s homicide reduction partnership initiated contact with Coleman in a courtyard area.
