DC can start seeking legal action on reckless drivers within its borders

WASHINGTON (7News) – District of Columbia leaders can finally take steps to reduce reckless driving in its borders by seeking civil lawsuits against those repeat offenders. With the new fiscal year in D.C. underway, the city can start enacting several parts of theStrengthening Traffic Enforcement, Education, and Responsibility (STEER) Act, after it passed the Council and became law in April.
