A Florida Wendy’s Temporarily Closed After State Inspection Appears To Be Reopened

Although Chick-fil-A has been previously named as Florida’s favorite fast food restaurant, there are plenty of fast food choices in Florida – including Florida-based Burger King, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, KFC, and Wendy’s, to name just a few examples.

Unfortunately, a location of one of these chains in Florida was temporarily ordered closed after a state inspection. However, it appears to be reopened.

About Wendy’s: One might say that this joint has withstood the test of time, as Wendy’s first opened in 1969 in Columbus, Ohio. One could also argue that Wendy’s is known for its square-shaped burgers and patties that aren’t frozen. According to Franchise Help, 77% of all Wendy’s stores are franchised.

Florida currently has 537 Wendy’s locations.

The Wendy’s in question gets mixed reviews from Merritt Island patrons, earning 3.4 out of 5 stars. While some found the food to be reliable, others had complaints.

A reviewer named Chris wrote:

“(It) must be short-staffed. (The) nice person taking orders did not know what she was doing – said she wasn’t trained on it all. Food took forever. Dining room (was) dirty. (I) will look for another place to stop next time.”
