Burger Chain Named “Very Best Burger” Has Been Closing FL Stores Due To Being Oversaturated In FL

Many people believe that a good burger is one of life’s simple joys – in moderation, of course.

And Floridians who want to enjoy a night out enjoying a good burger have plenty of choices from independently-owned, mom-and-pop restaurants such as Tropical Smokehouse in West Palm Beach and Teak Neighborhood Grill in Maitland to name a few options.

Those who want something more predictable may choose a chain option like Burger 21 or Five Guys.

Unfortunately, though, one chain restaurant in this genre has been closing restaurants in Florida.

About Burger Fi: This restaurant was actually founded in Florida. According to their website, their beef is only the highest quality Angus and their chicken is cage-free and antibiotic and hormone-free. Fries are also fresh-cut in-house.

In 2023, Burger Fi was named “The Very Best Burger” at the SOBE Wine and Food Festival.

There are around 96 Burger Fis in the United States, and 56 are in Florida.

Patrons at the original location – Lauderdale-by-the Sea – which only has a little over 6,000 people – give the restaurant 4.3 out of 5 stars. Many rave about the burgers, though some complain about the price. A reviewer with the handle Tee Dee described it this way:
