I often write about Florida restaurants, and I have learned over time that articles about buffets in Florida always generate opinionated responses. While some readers find buffets distasteful, many embrace and enjoy them because they are arguably cost-effective and offer many choices and courses. For someone who wants to sample a little of everything, a buffet can fit the bill.
However, one popular Florida buffet was shut down by state inspectors. And a search result appears to imply that it is now “permanently closed.”
About Golden Panda: I could not find a website or social media presence for this restaurant. What I could find were reviews that indicated that it offered a very reasonably priced Chinese buffet ($9.99) with a decent selection. Zephyrhills reviewers gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

“It’s not the fanciest place, but the food is always great, the employees are nice, and I’ve never gotten sick from anything I’ve eaten – and I’m the sort to try almost everything. It’s an old building, but it’s clean. They are extremely kid-friendly.”
