Invest 92L Tapering, Tropical Moisture Remains

Hot and Humid here in Central Florida already this afternoon. Today’s highs crept in to the low and mid-nineties. And once you factored in the humidity, the heat index rose past 100 degrees. To our north low pressure (Invest 92L) remains over Southern Georgia, and out on radar we can see numerous showers and storms across I-4. Stronger storms are forecast to develop this evening with peak strength across western Florida (A Marginal threat has been issued by the storm prediction center Outside of our DMA.) Lightning showers and storms will be most prominent before sunset and likely die down after nine. Tomorrow you can expect to see showers and storms develop once again with a southeast Seabreeze in the afternoon. Highs return to the nineties.
