Major Snack Recall Hits Several States

Truly Good Foods has issued a recall for its 3.25 oz cups of Grabeez The Big Cheese Snack Mix due to undeclared almonds and cashews, posing a severe risk to those with nut allergies. The recall affects distribution centers in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, and Texas, as well as retail locations in several other states, including Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

The mislabeled products were on shelves between August 23 and September 19, 2024, with a Best Before date of April 16, 2025. Consumers are urged to check for the product, which comes in clear plastic containers with a green label and UPC 0 94184 00439 8, and dispose of it immediately. Product photos can be found here.

The issue arose after a customer identified an error in packaging, which led to the wrong product – Healthy Trails Mix containing almonds and cashews – being labeled as The Big Cheese Snack Mix. Fortunately, no allergic reactions have been reported.

Customers are encouraged to dispose of the product and can apply for a full refund at the company’s website. Questions can be directed to Truly Good Foods’ customer service team at 704-602-0610 during business hours, Monday through Friday.
