TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Hernando County man took home a $1 million prize in a scratch-off game on Friday.
The Florida Lottery announced that Charles Grissett of Spring Hill won a big prize in the 300x the Cash Scratch-off Game.
He chose to receive his winnings as a lump-sum payment of $695,500.
Grissett purchased the winning ticket from a Publix located at 9595 Commercial Way in Weeki Wachee. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
The 300x the Cash game features over $1 billion in prizes, according to the Florida Lottery. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.93.
